Information for Tenants

Here at CMK Lettings, we aim to provide all our current and prospective tenants with a quality service.

Below you will find the steps you will take, when applying for one of our properties.

1. You will be asked to complete a tenant reference application,
which has to be accompanied by payment of a non–refundable reference fee. The cost is:

SINGLE APPLICANT £85
MARRIED COUPLE £145
JOINT APPLICANTS £95 per person
COMPANY APPLICANTS £150

2. Once you have paid the reference fee, your details will be forwarded to Leaseguard.
This is the reference agency which we use to check all applicants.

3. If you pass the reference check, you will be asked to sign a contract,
which has to be accompanied by an advanced payment.
(This figure is usually equal to one month's rent and the required bond
but it can vary at the landlords/agents discression).

(The bond is returned, when the property has been vacated, subject to it’s condition).

The acceptance of the following is at the discretion of the landlords:
Pets, Children, Smokers, Recipients of Housing Benefit.
